Coordinator, The Oath Project
rich.leimsider[at]aspeninstitute.org
Rich Leimsider joined the Aspen Institute in March 2005. As Coordinator of the Oath Project, he uses his experience at the intersection of business and nonprofits to better prepare managers for the social and environmental complications of modern business. Programs of the Center include Beyond Grey Pinstripes (an alternative ranking of business schools), CasePlace.org (an online library of case studies), the Faculty Pioneer Awards, and a series of faculty networks. Rich also supports Aspen's CEO Roundtable and leads a number of marketing, strategic planning, and development projects.
Rich joined the Aspen Institute after a stint as a social entrepreneur. He planned, launched, grew, and ultimately shut down a new sort of civic association for Americans who had participated in full time service programs. He has also worked with Habitat for Humanity, City Year, the City of New York, and Teach For America.
Rich is a graduate of Harvard Business School, and attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work and Williams College.
