2009 Faculty Pioneer Awards
Congratulations to this year's Faculty Pioneer Award winners!
We'll begin accepting nominations for the 2010-2011 awards cycle in the spring.
For almost a decade, the Aspen Institute's Faculty Pioneer Awards have recognized exceptional faculty who are leaders in integrating social and environmental issues into their research and teaching. Named “the Oscars of the business school world” by the Financial Times, these awards celebrate educators who have demonstrated leadership and risk-taking in integrating social and environmental issues into academic research, educational programs and business practice. Nominations are open to all faculty members at any institution worldwide offering a graduate management degree.
Nominees should have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following ways:
" Demonstrated leadership in the integration of social, environmental, and economic issues into business school courses, curriculum development and design
" Organized or participated in a leadership role in business school activities involving social and environmental topics, including but not limited to: conferences, program design, experiential learning, independent studies, and student clubs
" Made a positive and visible impact on business practice with regard to the intersection of social, environmental, and economic issues
