A CLOSER LOOK at
APPLIED SUSTAINABILITY CENTERS

Aspen CBE has just released its findings from its Sustaianbility Center Research Initiative, in A Closer Look at Applied Sustainability Centers. The paper discusses the rise of academic centers with a focus on applied sustainability and the environment. Our hope in offering this information is to provide a survey of the current academic sustainability landscape, help schools learn from each other's experiences and inspire greater collaboration and creativity.

Business schools are beginning to differentiate themselves in the ways they are integrating social impact management issues into the marketing curriculum. As Aspen CBE's Beyond Grey Pinstripes data shows, the number of marketing courses of this type being offered at MBA programs has increased nearly 100% since 2005. This month's Closer Look at Business Education focuses on trends in the marketing discipline.
